Old Town, Fresh Market, Monk chat and Temples
Take this unique opportunity to visit the town of Takuapa where you will be able to learn more about the Thai people and their way of living. You can walk the old part of the town with your local guide and see the almost 200 year old houses, built in the traditional style of that period. Also, you can see the temples in the area and view the difference between a Buddhist and a Chinese temple. There is the chance to see how cookies (moon cake) are being made at the local bakery you can shop at the local market. The trip includes various places where the 2004 tsunami disaster is remembered and respect is made to those who lost their lives.
